a new beginning

Lamest title ever, yes. But nevertheless accurate. Even though it’s still May, everyone’s finally home from college and I’m really starting to feel those summer vibes kicking in

-last friday was the first party of the summer at Amy’s, full of craziness, beer-soaked clothes and bad decisions that I most definitely learned from

-saturday was Mayfest with my Mom, then helping out as judge at the Turbo Kick cancer fundraiser at the local Tilton Gym. Probably would’ve been more fun if I hadn’t been so hungover…

-sunday was the Gem & Mineral Show in Germania with Amy, where I got lots of cool stuff for more jewelry making (up on etsy whenever I get my ass in gear lolol), and Mayfest again with Nick and April. Fried oreos galore <3 hung out with Nick later, and wrote a lot =]

-monday was shopping around Brigantine with Mom for a new surfboard. Didn’t get anything that day but I’m just so stoked!!

-tuesday Monica and me went to killer class at Tilton called Body Pump, lots of lifting and squats and I was so freaking sore but it was awesome…and then Shea’s later, of course <3

-wednesday was our annual picnic with another group of friends I haven’t seen in forever, and it was so nice catching up with them again

-thursday was cleaning cleaning cleaning cleaning and then hanging out at Monica’s parent’s house with her sister, then rewarding myself with frozen yogurt at Yogo Factory with Monica and April

-and today was a dream come true. I got my acceptance letter from my goal college. Surprisingly, my mom did most of the running around and screaming haha I was just trying not to cry. I’m so so happy but I don’t think it’s hit me yet, and I just don’t know what to do with myself now haha bonfire at Amy’s later tonight
